Year-long Elective Drama Classes

Year-long Technical Theater and Design
If you want to learn more about the behind-the-scenes aspect of theater, this class is for you. This hands-on Stagecraft course teaches set design and construction, scenic painting, props, costuming, make-up, and technical theater (including lighting, sound, and more). |

Our Director
Aimee Mauzey-Gallagher
Laguna Hills High School Theater Department
Aimee was born and raised in Anaheim CA. She has traveled the country performing in various musical theater shows, national tours, as well as directing and choreographing award-winning productions. Aimee has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, a credential in both Theater and in Dance from Cal State University Fullerton and San Diego State, as well as a Master of Arts in Education. Aimee is an active member of the professional actor's union and the Actor's Equity Association. Not only has Aimee been an arts educator for many years, she has also served as a choreographer at the Disneyland Resort, and a master teacher for the Imagination Campus at Disneyland. When not teaching, Aimee is in demand as an adjudicator for various theater and music competitions, including the prestigious Musical Theater Competition of America as well as the National Show Choir Competition at the Grand Ole Opry. Aimee was recently recognized by the CA State Senate for her significant work as a director and choreographer as well as by the Santa Ana Unified School District for her dedication to arts education. When not involved in the theater, Aimee enjoys family time with her husband and French bulldog.
