Cappies Program for WritersAll LHHS students can apply for this extra curricular opportunity in journalism. LHHS writers submit sample reviews for one of nine positions on our Cappies Critics Team. Cappies critics attend theater productions at other high schools and write reviews of the shows they see. The best reviews from all Cappies critics are then published online. Critics are chosen based on their academic strength, writing skills, and familiarity with theatrical practices.

Community ServiceNeed to earn community service hours for graduation? The theatre department offers frequent opportunities to earn hours by ushering for a show, participating in set-building days, or helping with organizing and cleaning the theater, prop room, ticket booth, and backstage areas.
