Audition Procedure for Fall Play

Please do not audition or apply if you cannot be present at all performances!
The show will be performed in person with a live audience. Rehearsals will be in-person (following CDC and district protocols). If you have any questions, see Mrs. Lord in Room 204 or email her at susan.lord@svusd.org or by using the Remind app for the show: text @lhpnp to 81010.

Everyone auditioning must complete Steps 1 & 2. Step 3 is by invitation only.
STEP 1: Prepare a 1-2 minute monologue, preferably one that matches the style of the play we are doing or is like the character you would like to play. Monologue should be memorized (or at least we should not be able to tell you are looking at a script). Maintain the character throughout the monologue, have a clear focal point, and keep in mind what the character wants/needs (aka play the objective).
STEP 2: Complete the Google form application (link below) and include the video of the recorded monologue or the link to it with your Cast Application and submit by
STEP 3: Callbacks - DATE
If you are invited to a callback, expect to cold read from the script. No need to prepare anything. This part of the audition is done in groups of people being considered for a certain part, and is by invitation only. Plan to stay the entire time for which you are called.
You will be notified of the results regardless of whether you are cast in the show or not.
